Centre for Urban Mission (C.U.M.) is a ministry of Church Army Africa (CAA), an institution of the Anglican Church in Africa. C.U.M. began 2002 with an intention of equipping the church so as to respond to the challenges of urbanization in Africa cities. CAA is committed to the H.E.A.L strategy (Health, Education, Advocacy and Leverage of wealth creation). C.U.M implements the H.E.A.L strategy within cities and also in rapidly urbanizing spaces within Africa cities. The Centre for Urban Mission’s overall aim is to equip church leaders in urban mission while at the same time working with local churches so as to bring about the holistic transformation of the informal settlements.
